	Mountain Biking Take your own bike - or rent one to try out some of the most open and unspoiled areas for biking. Go through the forests or up the gondola right to the top of the mountain - and then ride down whichever route takes your fancy. Hiking With some of the best walking and hiking routes in Europe the Rila mountain range offers a multitude of trails of varying lengths and difficulties ranging from a couple of hours stroll through the woods to a couple of days hike or trek through the mountains. The Rila Mountains
	Lakeside 20 Minutes away from us is the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsular, " Lake Iskar". Here you can enjoy various water sports such as boat rides, wakeboarding, waterskiing and the rental of Jet skis. Lake Iskar

Horse Riding

Professional horse riding instruction is available down in the local town of Ichtamon. From one of the two BHS qualified owners of The Race you can have personal one-to-one instruction either on your first steps or through to learning how to tackle that higher jumping course. Or you can take a hack through the forests with a guided tour right up into the mountains.

Para-Gliding

Try soaring through the sky and above the mountains with views that will literally take you breath away.

Spa Days

Get healthy at some of the world-renowned indoor and outdoor health and spa centres in Belchin Banya and Dolna Banya.

Golf

Go to the newly finished golf course in Ibar near the town of Dolna Banya where you can also use other facilities such as their swimming pool, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts - as well as a football field.

Local Culture

Go and visit one of the true manmade marvels of Bulgaria, the Rila Monastery. Built in the 10th century in the heart of the mountain range you can either take a long hike through the mountains directly from The Race, or go by car for a more relaxing day.
